Agriculture & the animals
On the farm, we practice organic farming, with sustainability and care for nature at the heart of everything we do. The farm covers 8.5 hectares, of which approximately 7 hectares are arable land.
In our beautiful, mature garden, a wide variety of fruit and berries grow in abundance, including apples, figs, peaches, raspberries, currants, blueberries, pears, walnuts, hazelnuts, cherries, aronia berries, plums, and mirabelles, adding both flavor and character to the farm’s surroundings. In our kitchen garden, we also grow various herbs, potatoes, vegetables, and more.
The garden is also home to a tulip tree that is at least one hundred years old. When in bloom, it is exceptionally beautiful and adorns the garden with its impressive presence and stunning tulip-shaped flowers.
We grow grass and grains to produce feed for the farm’s own animals, creating a natural and sustainable cycle. Currently, the farm is home to ducks and chickens, two happy dogs, and four hardworking, mouse-hunting cats.
In 2026, we plan to expand the farm with pigs, cows, and bees as part of our long-term vision of a self-sufficient farm with vibrant and sustainable agriculture.
